This is the international split-album which united very different lines of Heavy metal and Hardcore punk. The good old tradition with a new vision.
Herod is a heavy metal band from the United States. The band was formed in 2000 in Buffalo, New York by Jesse Benker and Mike Jeffers. Their first release was "Sinner's in the Eye's of an Angery God" in 2001, followed by Execution Protocol in early 2002 through Too Damn Hype Records. In 2003 the band was signed by Lifeforce Records. Since being signed, the band has released two albums with Lifeforce, the first being For Whom the Gods Would Destroy. Jason Russo replaced vocalist Judah Nero in 2005. Shortly afterward the band went into the studio to record their second album with Lifeforce Records, Rich Man's War, Poor Man's Fight, with producer Doug White. The record was released in March 2006. Late 2008 Herod joined Dark Harvest Records. and began recording their label debut Curse of The King, and follow up Self Titled CDEP. The band is currently in the process of recording their 7th album to be released on Dark Harvest Records in 2015 and is planning a European tour in support of the album.
LWFDIHH is an avant-garde metal band from Russia. The band was founded in 2006 by Alexey Merganov in Moscow. The band has three full-lenght album "Люди из красной книги" (2010), "Стихия"(2010) and "Архаика I", two international splits and several early singles. Band elements inherent in death, hardcore, symphonic, thrash, industrial, funk, groove metal, grunge and noise ambient. Now the "fucking demons" are preparing a new album - " Архаика II", which is planned to be rolled on a tour of Europe and Japan.
Starlingraid was founded in december 2007 in Tokyo, with the aim of creating a new form of extreme music. "Our first album, 'Terminal Stage of Decay', was released in Janruary 2010. There were two of us them, my drummer Kazuki and I. In June 2011 I returned to Japan from Russia. I would compose and send the music to Japan, and the band would rehearse it. This summer I met the drummer and leader of LWFDIHH – Aleksei. Now with his help we're finishing up the recording and mastering of our song 'Red Shift' and getting ready for the release of our split with Libido and the american band Herod. At the same time we're starting to record our new album and we hope we can show off some our new music soon." - Roman (taken from an interview)
